Googles's long awaited music download service is likely to be launched within two weeks.
It will be an add on to the google music beta.It has a free service by which users can upload and manage their existing music library in the cloud.This is revealed to "The wall street of Journal" by the people who are familiar with this issue.Currently the access for this service is strictly confined to desktop web and android devices.
In this service, downloads will be available as mp3 for about $0.99 a songas if like in Apple's iTune's service.
The company plans to use of finance from its social network,Google+ to dive sales.
Users can share their music library in the cloud and even with their Google+ contacts.If a user wants to listen to the song in the service then he needs to select the option to purchase a download copy.
According to the Journal, Google online music download service is unlikely to share its secure rights with two of the four major labels.Of them sony music entertanment and warner music,because of the frustrated reason that users inevitably unable to find songs they might be looking to purchase in these labels.
There is a minor dispute between the two major labels and the Google in signing the agreement.
Sony is reportedly unlikely to sign because google doesnot have a good grip on to stem piracy in Youtube and its android operating system.Warner Music is worried about the financial incentive if Google as the google music is free and desnot generate revenue on behalf of the record companies.
Atleast we hope apple's forth coming music locker ,a $25 per year service iTunes match will collaborate its sharing with the record label spotify and iTunes decided to delay their launching in US until they get signed agreements from all the four major label groups.
